I’m a licensed clinical social worker with active licenses in Tennessee, Georgia, Utah, and Vermont. While my office is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I provide therapy across state lines through secure telehealth platforms.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a range of settings—including private practice, hospitals, community health centers, and both public and private schools.
I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned my master’s degree in social work from Boston College in 2006. In 2011, I completed a post-graduate fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis.
My approach to therapy is tailored to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, including psychoanalytic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based strategies, play therapy, and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP).
I'm especially interested in helping people slow down, notice what’s coming up for them, and begin to trust their own inner experience as a guide. At the heart of my work is a commitment to building strong, trusting relationships and creating a space where growth feels both possible and supported.
