Individual Psychotherapy

Stress and emotional struggles can surface in many ways—disrupted sleep, irritability, shifts in mood, or tension in relationships. Often, it’s hard to name exactly what’s going on. Therapy can help you slow down, notice what you’re feeling, and begin to make sense of it.

Individual therapy offers a safe space for reflection, support, and self-discovery. I believe one way that sense of safety is built through a trusting, attuned relationship. I rely on that connection as the foundation of my work.

Together, we notice what’s coming up, explore what might be holding you back, and build your insight and confidence to move toward meaningful change. Gaining awareness of the barriers that keep us stuck can be a powerful first step in loosening their hold.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people heal from anxiety, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, and relationship struggles. It can also support people who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand.

This kind of therapy helps you gently process painful memories, reduce current emotional triggers, and build tools to feel more steady moving forward. EMDR doesn’t just focus on what you think or feel—it also helps you notice how your body holds those experiences, creating a bridge between emotional healing and physical well-being.

I practice Relational EMDR, which means I place great importance on our connection. You won’t be doing this work alone. I’m there with you—attuned, steady, and present—as you move through what’s difficult. This work is not just about feeling better in the moment; it’s about lasting change and deeper self-understanding.

Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy

For children, play is more than just fun—it’s how they communicate, explore, and make sense of the world around them. In therapy, play becomes a powerful tool to help children express feelings they may not yet have words for and process the challenges they’re facing in their daily lives.

As children grow into adolescence, their emotional world becomes more complex. Teens often struggle to identify and express what they’re feeling, especially as they navigate friendships, identity, and growing independence from family. Therapy can offer a supportive space where they feel safe to explore these changes, build self-awareness, and develop a stronger sense of self-worth and confidence.

I know that not every child or teen connects easily through conversation alone. That’s why I use a flexible, creative approach—incorporating things like drawing, games, writing, music, or movement—to meet them where they are. These tools, rooted in principles of play therapy, help foster connection and open the door to meaningful emotional growth.

Parent Consultation

Parenting can be incredibly rewarding—and incredibly hard. There’s no manual, and even the most loving, thoughtful parents can feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about how best to support their child. I offer parent consultations for individuals or couples, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore whatever challenges you're facing.

I’m also a trained facilitator in Circle of Security Parenting, a supportive program designed to help caregivers better understand their child’s emotional needs. It’s especially helpful for parents of younger children and focuses on strengthening connection, supporting emotional regulation, and building your child’s confidence and security. I offer this work individually with parents and tailor it to your specific concerns.

Whether your child is also in therapy or you're seeking support just for yourself as a parent, consultation can offer new insight, practical tools, and a deeper sense of connection with your child.
